1. Shipping Methods & Weather Holds
To protect the exquisite sensory characteristics of our Pinot Noir and Rosé, Audelyn Wines utilizes custom insulated packaging sleeves. Because extreme temperatures (freezing cold or glowing heat) can ruin fine wine by drying out corks or expanding bottle contents, we actively monitor multi-state forecasts daily.
Weather Holding Policy: If weather systems along the target route exceed 85°F or drop below 32°F, our cellar masters reserve the right to place a temporary weather hold on your shipment. We will contact you immediately to organize climate-controlled priority alternatives or hold your cases safely in our temperature-controlled caves until weather stabilizes.
2. 21+ Age Compliance Regulations
By federal and state law, all alcoholic beverage shipments are strictly restricted to verified adults who are 21 years of age or older.
Our shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS) are legally required to verify a valid government-issued photographic physical ID before transferring the package. Carriers are prohibited from handing packages to minors, leaving boxes unsigned on lawns, or delivering to PO Boxes under any circumstances. If carrier leaves a notice paper, they will retry delivery up to three times before holding for local sorting facility pickups.
3. Returns and Refund Policy
Due to state alcohol regulations, we cannot accept general physical returns of shipped wine bottles simply because of changes of heart or event cancellations.
Damaged or Corked Bottles: In the rare occurrence that a bottle arrives broken at your venue, or exhibits clear cork ruin ("corked corkage"), please contact our concierge helpdesk within 30 days of shipment receipt. We will happily send immediate replacement bottles free of charge or issue a direct credit invoice value for that volume. Please preserve the damaged bottle or cork for audit checks as requested.
4. Large-Lot Wedding & Corporate Bookings
For private events, high-volume banquets, and seasonal corporate gifting, Audelyn coordinates delivery dates directly with caterers, venue hosts, or corporate offices. Please ensure a representative who is 21+ is assigned to receive shipments directly. For tax filings or state direct-permit boundary invoices, our billing desk coordinates logistics securely.
